Kimberly Patterson, BSN, RN is the founder of K&P Consulting Nurse. She has over thirty years of clinical experience in various nursing roles from direct patient care to leadership roles over various departments. She has managed teams with up to seventy-five employees and her experience spans Critical Care, Telemetry, Med-Surg, Intermediate Care, Dialysis, Trauma, Neurovascular, Cardiac Catheterization, Emergency Services and Clinical Trial Research. Her leadership roles include nursing supervisor over the Cardiac Cath Lab and Emergency Department, Director of Nursing over up to four departments at a time, and House Supervisor roles in various health systems within three different states. Within her roles, Ms. Patterson ensured high-quality standards and patient-centered care through strategic planning, forecasting, and the development of new or revised policies and procedures.
Ms. Patterson is proficient in understanding the standards of practice for appropriate nursing care and utilizes her knowledge and experience in her role as a legal nurse consultant and legal nurse expert advising medical malpractice and personally injury attorneys.
